Key Features

  • The block is a good candidate for the structural traps at level of Sui Main Limestone and stratigraphic traps at Lower Goru level.
  • A Sequence Stratigraphic Study by Dr. Bilal-ul-Haq (A world renowned consultant) has been completed.
  • The study indicates presence of stratigraphic plays at the Lower Goru level.
  • Well-developed gas infrastructure within the block.
  • Block is surrounded by several gas fields: Rehmat, Haseeb, Badar, Kadanwari, Miano, Mari, Kandhkot, Qadirpur, Kandra, Hasan, Sadiq and Khanpur Fields producing from Habib Rahi Limestone, Sui Main Limestone and Lower Goru reservoirs.
  • Good quality gas at around 800-900 BTU/SCF.
  • Acquired 758 Line Km 2D seismic data.

  • Seismic interpertation of 758 Line Km 2D seismic data.
  • Drilling of well at Sui Main Limestone level.
